Nutrition Program for Mal-nourished Children in Nepal:
Children and their families in Nepal struggle with food security due to economic, cultural, and political factors. Geography and lack of education are main reasons why families in this verdant nation suffer from hunger six months out of the year.
Outreach and intervention projects for women and children in this population are based in peer-reviewed research and population survey data. We are looking to create programs that will instill long term change. The program is being developed with Scientific Advisory Board members native to and currently living in Nepal, and in collaboration with members of our Board of Directors.
If you are passionate about improving the infrastructure in west Nepal, please email: info@Go-MCH.org. You can also make a tax-deductible donation, we would greatly appreciate extra funds to help buy gardening supplies and teaching tools to help the families who need it most. Feel free to contact us with more questions.
